Joshua Johnston

Joshua Johnston

With being born and raised in Oregon, Joshua Johnston has always been drawn to the outdoors. It's been the place where he feels the happiest and complete. He picked up his first DSLR in 2012 with the goal of sharing his outdoor experiences with those who can’t experience them for themselves. He fell in love with the art of photography soon after and it's been a big part of his life ever since. Rarely does he leave the house without a camera in hand, much to the dismay of those who choose to hike with him.

In his own words:

Patience is required if you plan to spend time with a photographer. While a photograph can never truly capture the grandeur of nature, the challenge of conveying what I see, how I see it, and the feelings nature evokes, keeps me driven to always improve.
