Robert Manno grew up in Southern California. As a teenager he was inspired by the regions stunning Pacific Ocean sunsets. His love and passion for photography blossomed into a lifelong passion to capture images that took on significant meaning to himself, his friends and family. He was educated at Santa Monica College and UCLA. While there, new avenues of light erupted onto the film. Bob and his traveling darkroom traversed the United States, looking for a paradise to live in and raise a family. He settled in a small town in Northern California and concentrated on capturing, developing and perfecting black/white and color film and then to today’s digital imagery.
He prides himself on being a silent observer to natures ever changing skies, clouds, backgrounds and inhabitants, always ready to capture images that present themselves as only unfiltered nature can.
Traveling to many parts of the world he captured the rich vivid venues that exist in each region.
Recent photo shoots have taken him to South and Central America, islands in the Caribbean, Mexico, Southeast Asia, The Mediterranean Region, Italy, Spain, Hawaii, Alaska and a Safari throughout Africa.
Each image in his “Paradise Collection” is not only unique; each is as natural as the moment it was shot.
